Vision
Beim Entwurf von Automatisierungen für sicherheitskritische technische Systeme müssen nach ISO 262622 oder IEC 61508 eine Vielzahl an Tests durchgeführt werden, um die Absicherung verwendeter Regelungen und Algorithmen gegen Unsicherheiten der realen Welt zu zeigen. Mit der Zunahme an hochautomatisierten Funktionen stoßen klassische Produkt- und Systemabsicherungsverfahren vermehrt an ihre Grenzen. Ziel der Forschungsgruppe Functional Safety Control ist es deshalb, bereits sehr früh im Entwurfsprozess der Automatisierung Methoden zu etablieren, die das physikalische Verhalten des technischen Systems und dessen Unsicherheiten berücksichtigen, um somit sichere bzw. garantierte Aussagen über das Gesamtsystemverhalten zu treffen. Dadurch ist es möglich, den Absicherungsaufwand im Entwurfsprozess zu verringern.
Vorausschauende sichere Planung und optimale Ausnutzung der Redundanz technischer Systeme
Ein Forschungs-Fokus sind aktuell sichere modellbasierte Trajektorienplanungs-Verfahren. Das Ziel ist dabei, das Verhalten eines Systems unter zuvor festgelegten Performanz-Kriterien zu bestimmen. Methodische Ansätze, wie die Berechnung von Erreichbarkeitsmengen, ermöglichen vorauschauend das technische System so anzusteuern, dass bereits in der Verhaltensplanung Unsicherheiten explizit berücksichtigt werden, sodass die Sicherheit des Systems garantiert werden kann. Bei dieser Gesamtsystembetrachtung werden dynamische Nichtlinearitäten und Unsicherheiten des kaskadierten Systems in den Planungsalgorithmus integriert. Insbesondere stehen dabei überaktuierte Systeme im Mittelpunkt der Forschung, welche eine Systemklasse mit einer hohen Anzahl von Antriebs- oder Bewegungsfreiheitsgraden darstellen, um die Performanz und die Sicherheit durch gegebene aktorische Redundanz zu optimieren. Ein weiterer Forschungs-Schwertpunkt ist deshalb der Regelungsentwurf und die Steuerung dieser überbestimmten technischen Systeme. Unter Beibehalt einer sicheren und anforderungsorientierten primären Funktion werden dabei zusätzliche Performanz-Eigenschaften, wie beispielsweise der Energieverbrauch, durch das Entwurfsverfahren integriert. Derzeit betrachtete Anwendungsgebiete sind allradgelenkte Fahrzeuge, Nanopositionier-Aktoren, Transportroboter und Multi-Roboter-Systeme.
