Lebenslauf

1992-1997 Studium der Elektrotechnik, Vertiefungsrichtung Regelungstechnik an der TU Braunschweig, der TH Karlsruhe und der école nationale supérieure d'électricité et de mécanique Nancy. Promotion 2002 mit einer Arbeit zu nichtlinearen zeitdiskreten Regelungen. Danach bei BMW tätig; verantwortlich für die Vorausentwicklung Bremssysteme sowie die Serienentwicklung Integrierte Fahrdynamikregelungen (ICM) und Sensoren. Zuletzt Leiter der Voraus- und Serienentwicklung aktive Sicherheitssysteme. Seit Herbst 2010 Leiter des Instituts für Regelungs- und Steuerungssysteme. Editor der at-Automatisierungstechnik seit 2011. Seit April 2015 Mitglied des Direktoriums des Forschungszentrums Informatik (FZI). Leiter des IFAC Technical Committee  TC 4.1 Human machine systems.
